June 8, 2023, Toronto, Ont. – A Toronto Police officer has been arrested and charged by the Toronto Police Service.
On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Boris Borissov turned himself in at 23 Division. He was charged with: Fail to Comply With Release Order.
He was scheduled to appear in court at Toronto Regional Bail Court, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 10 a.m., in Room 107.

A Toronto Police Service officer has been arrested and criminally charged.
On Thursday, February 17, 2022, a missing person investigation was started in 53 Division. One of the officers assigned to the case took possession of the missing person’s personal belongings.
It is alleged that:
- the police officer gave the missing person’s debit card to another man
- the man used the missing person’s debit card to make a purchase at a store in Mississauga
- After further investigation, it is also alleged that:
- the police officer and the man fraudulently obtained motor vehicles
