Security • Police • Fire Career Expo coming to Toronto on March 27

Mar. 13, 2024, Toronto, Ont. – On March 27, Blue Line, Fire Fighting in Canada, Canadian Firefighter and Canadian Security will host the annual Security • Police • Fire Career Expo at the International Centre in Mississauga.

The event connects job seekers with employers in the police, fire and security sectors.

Attendees who are interested in a career in public safety will be able to hone their interviewing skills during mock interview sessions held throughout the day with firefighters, police officers, and security professionals who will provide feedback.

In addition to the mock interviews, participants will be able to connect with high-ranking police and fire services personnel as well as security directors who will be there to offer mentorship and career-related guidance.

On the mentor roster, you’ll find Innisfil/Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire Chief Brent Thomas, Vaughan Fire Chief Andrew Zvanitajs and Markham Fire Chief Chris Nearing who will speak to attendees about the fire sector.

West Grey Police Chief Robert Martin, Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Anthony Odoardi, and S/Sgt. Brian Lass for Toronto Community Housing’s community safety unit will be available on behalf of the policing sector.

Asaf Levy, director of loss prevention and compliance for Metro Supply Chain, and Aaron Ramhit, manager of risk prevention at Scotiabank will be on hand to discuss the security industry.

Event attendees will also be able to tour the expo floor to engage and leave a lasting impact with diverse employers in the field of public safety. A complimentary lunch ticket will be provided during the morning registration period to all registered attendees.

More than 50 prominent organizations including Peel Regional Police, Toronto Fire Services, GardaWorld, and many more, will be at the Career Expo with the sole purpose of recruiting and hiring top talent.
