Robert Lombardi currently owns the CylanceOPTICS EDR product and core SecOps workflows for Alert Management, Incident Response & Investigation, and Threat Hunting. He drove the cloud-native transformation of the Optics Agent, cloud services, console experiences, and data lake from an on-prem centric architecture. These capabilities laid the groundwork for offering a truly native Cylance XDR experience. Previous to joining the Cylance team and leading key parts of BlackBerry’s transition to becoming a cybersecurity leader, Robert led many security and privacy products on mobile platforms including CylancePROTECT Mobile, BlackBerry DTEK, BlackBerry Password Keeper, BlackBerry Privacy Shade, and BlackBerry BIDE. Robert started his career at BlackBerry in 2009 as a co-op before coming back full time in 2011 as an Electrical Systems Designer where he worked on many of BlackBerry’s iconic devices including BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Classic, BlackBerry Priv, and the BlackBerry Playbook.

Ritesh Kotak is a Technology and Cybersecurity analyst who has dedicated his career to exploring how emerging tech will impact society. In addition, Ritesh is a licensed lawyer in Ontario and practices in the area of Privacy, Cybersecurity and Emerging Tech. Ritesh started his career in public safety working for two police organizations focusing on cybercrime investigations and innovation. He left policing to pursue an MBA and then worked in Big Tech for two years focusing on innovation and smart cities. He left the tech sector to attend law school and received a JD with a Law and Technology Option. While in law school, Ritesh interned at the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic and worked on several projects related to legal tech. Ritesh is a frequent contributor on mainstream media and is an international public speaker. He has spoken at the World Internet Conference in China, NATO-Sponsored cybersecurity summit in North Macedonia and the FBI/Major City Chiefs Conference in the U.S. Ritesh has also appeared twice as a witness in House of Commons Committees.
