Mar. 3, 2023, Mississauga, Ont. – Peel Regional Police has announced its deployment of Motorola Solutions’ mission-critical PremierOne® computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software to enhance safety for officers and the 1.4 million residents and visitors in the Peel region. The PremierOne CAD system is said to help connect dispatchers and field personnel in real-time and improves collaboration between agencies by sharing time-sensitive, critical data.

“We’ve been working collaboratively with Motorola Solutions for years and are excited we have this new dispatch system up and running so effectively,” said Deputy Chief Anthony Odoardi, Peel Regional Police. “We want our organization to be one of the most progressive, innovative, and inclusive departments across North America, and this PremierOne CAD system is helping us pave the way.”

“The Peel Regional Police wanted to move away from a fragmented and siloed set of solutions to one unified system to provide greater efficiency for their officers. The deployment of the PremiereOne CAD system is just a first step in fulfilling the vision of Peel Regional Police,” said Michael Martin, president of Motorola Solutions Canada. “Peel Regional Police have an impressive commitment to advancing their technology platform for the ongoing safety of their citizens and officers.”
