Isobel Granger promoted to superintendent, Ottawa Police Service

Insp. Isobel Granger has been promoted to superintendent at the Ottawa Police Service.
She will be leading the service’s new Respect, Values and Inclusion (RVI) Directorate. In 2018 she was the service’s first Black woman to be promoted to the rank of inspector.
She also just published her book, Smashing the Glass Ceiling, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2017 Harry Jerome National Award for Public Advocacy.
