Retired police officers reflect on what the local police force was like decades ago

Apr. 26, 2023, Kitchener, Ont. – While the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, those who were on the force before it was a regional police service, got together for a reunion. Former Deputy Police Chief Gord Miller joined what was then considered the City of Waterloo’s police department, back in the 1960s. His career spanned 33 years.
