Halifax officer ‘whips’ and ‘nae naes’ to the delight of late night bar goers
HALIFAX — Instead of busting a bad guy, a police officer opted to bust a move at a famous late-night hangout spot in Halifax.

A video rapidly gaining traction online shows a uniformed officer dancing to Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” in the middle of a Halifax intersection.
In the video, he is surrounded by a crowd of cheering, laughing people — some of whom were taking their own videos.
The clip was posted at about 3:00 a.m. Sunday on the Instagram story of Pizza Girls, one of the stores in the city’s so-called “Pizza Corner,” an area well known for its selection of greasy grub for local bar-goers.
Another video tweeted by Halifax Regional Police Association director Perry Astephen shows the same officer dancing to Drake’s “In My Feelings.”
Astephen later responded to his own tweet: “#policearehuman2.”
