First-ever Inuk promoted to Staff Sergeant Major in Nunavut RCMP

Nov. 9, 2023, Nunavut – “With this appointment, Staff Sgt. Maj. Melanson becomes the first Inuk staff sergeant major in the RCMP’s history.
