Couple entrapped by police in terror plot sting don’t need peace bond, defence says.
VANCOUVER - Marilyn Sandford, the lawyer for John Nuttall, argued in provincial court that the crown is trying to use a peace bond as a second attempt to prosecute her client on alleged terrorism acts.
Nuttall and his common-law wife Amanda Korody were cleared of terrorism charges last year, when the trial judge ruled that the couple had been entrapped by the police in a sting operation.
