According to the article, Auntie’s Health and Wellness on Barrington St. in Halifax, which is operated by Shirley Martineau, was selling marijuana products to anyone over the age of 19, regardless of whether they had a permit to purchase it or not.

In addition to the raid by police, a municipal representative was also quoted indicating that a business permit for the store had been denied because the business was illegal and contrary to municipal bylaws.
