The first stage of the campaign, got off to a rocky start when the KPS posted a warning on their Facebook page, threatening to play Canadian rock-band Nickelback’s 2001 album “Silver Side Up” in the cruiser on the way to jail.
During the second stage of the campaign, they gave out candy-canes instead of tickets, along with a note reminding people to drive safely and have a happy holiday.
The final stage included a social media campaign on Twitter using the hashtag #notsobernotdriving.
