Surrey mayor outlines plan to make final decision on policing

May 2, 2023, Vancouver, B.C. – Mayor Brenda Locke is outlining Surrey’s next steps in deciding who will police the city going forward. It comes days after Public Safety Minister and Solicitor General Mike Farnworth issued a strong recommendation for Surrey to continue the transition from RCMP to a municipal force.
