Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers goes to RCMP Const. Garrett Dove

RCMP Const. Garrett Dove of North Battleford, Sask., was honoured with the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers recently by the Governor General of Canada.

Dove was noted for going “above and beyond in mentoring and guiding First Nations youth in the communities of Pelican Narrows and Battleford, particularly by offering valuable options for Indigenous programming during and after school.”
