The divisions says it goals with this leap onto this social media platform are to:

• provide valuable public safety tips and information
• encourage public engagement, interest and knowledge about the services we 
provide to the citizens of Ontario
• provide information about careers in the RCMP
• tell the RCMP story, with photos and videos
• profile federal role in Ontario (Financial Crime, Serious and Organized Crime, 
Cybercrime, National Security, and Protective Policing)
• profile  Community Policing programs
• showcase specialized equipment, civilian expertise, and innovation

“We invite you to follow us and to share our handle and posts with your colleagues, family and friends,” the division posted.
