RCMP Cpl. Robert David Daniel passes away

Cpl. Robert David Daniel, 48, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with gastric cancer on Aug. 2.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lisa Daniel, and his daughter, Sophia Daniel.

Daniel was a dedicated member of the RCMP for the past 20 years on the Division Training Section, as well as being the NCO of the Special Tactical Operations team in Halifax, N.S.

He was also one of the most highly regarded use of force instructors, recognized nationally and internationally, and joined Blue Line in 2018 as the law enforcement expert for our free webinar on first responders preparing together for active threats.
