Axon announces Taser 7 at IACP 2018
Axon unveiled its latest advancement in controlled energy weapons (CEW), the Taser 7, during the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference.
Axon says it is the company’s most effective CEW to date.
“We are extremely excited about the launch of Taser 7. However, we are still undergoing the approval process for sale in Canada, and it may take a while for that to happen — up to a year is what we’ve been told,” the company stated. “Once it’s approved, we will roll out flexible upgrade programs so you can easily move to Taser 7 without losing out on any recent or upcoming CEW investments to your current program. We will do everything we can to ensure you have the most up-to-date technology, both today and in the years ahead, so you can confidently de-escalate dangerous situations while staying on budget.”
