Prisoner dies in custody at penitentiary in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — A 30-year-old man has died while in custody at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert, Sask.

Correctional Service Canada reports that Curtis Robert Cozart was taken to hospital on Wednesday and was pronounced dead later in the evening.
Cozart had been in custody for assault with a weapon, assault with use of force, theft under $5,000, obstructing a peace officer and failing to comply with a probation order.
Whenever an inmate dies, along with notifying police and the coroner, Correctional Services investigates the incident.
