Peel Regional Police Service’s Acting Deputy Chief of Police Dale Mumby has retired.
Mumby began his policing career in 1988 with Peel Regional Police and went on to spend time in Uniform Patrol, Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau, Commercial Auto Crime Bureau, Communications Bureau, Street Crime Gang Unit, Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau, Fraud Bureau, Duty Inspectors’ Office, Emergency Support Services, and most recently served as the executive officer to the Chief of Police.
Mumby was promoted to sergeant in 2002, staff sergeant in 2006, inspector in 2013 and superintendent in 2014.
