Peel Regional Police receive award of excellence
Peel Regional Police was awarded the Platinum Excellence, Innovation and Wellness Award at the Canada Awards for Excellence ceremony in Toronto recently, becoming the first police service to achieve Platinum Certification status. The award is presented by Excellence Canada, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help others become best-in-class by implementing standards of excellence.

Peel Regional Police received the award after an extensive verification process, including site visits, focus groups, interviews and process, and project management reviews.
“Over the past 34 years we have recognized more than 650 outstanding organizations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors that have met the highest standards for quality, excellence, innovation, and healthy workplaces,” said Allan Ebedes, president and CEO of Excellence Canada.
