Peel Regional Police chaplain wins Chaplain of the Year award f

Imran Ally, a chaplain with Peel Regional Police and a resident Imam at the Toronto and Regional Islamic Congregation (TARIC) mosque for the last 20 years, is the first Imam and Muslim chaplain in Canada to receive the Chaplain of the Year award from Badge of Life Canada (BOLC).
BOLC is a peer-led, charitable volunteer organization committed to supporting police and corrections personnel who are dealing with psychological injuries diagnosed from service. In addition to being the first Muslim chaplain with Peel Regional Police, he is also the first Imam and Muslim chaplain in Canada to receive certification by the Canadian Police Chaplains Association (CPCA).
