Police can amend tickets without notifying accused. Officers want to correct minor errors, says judge

A recent Ontario Court of Appeal ruling confirmed that officers can amend tickets for minor offences before filing them in court. In York (Regional Municipality) v. Wadood it was found that officers should not be prevented from making such amendments.
