Fifteen teens selected from across Canada spent this week at Depot, the RCMP’s training academy in Regina, to learn how to make their communities safer.

The RCMP is hosting a Youth Leadership Workshop from Feb. 7-10, 2018, for 15 Grade 9-12 students, each accompanied by an RCMP employee from their community. Each day consists of educational workshops on topics such as bullying, road safety, healthy relationships and substance misuse. Based on these workshops, participants will develop an action plan to combat a youth crime or victimization issue that they identify. With RCMP support, the youth will then implement this action plan once they return home.
