MORLEY, Alta. — RCMP say a member of the Alberta Sheriffs Branch has been injured in a head-on collision with a stolen vehicle.

Mounties say they were trying to stop a suspicious truck near the community of Morley, west of Calgary, on Sunday morning.

The truck carrying three people fled and collided with a nearby Sheriffs Branch vehicle.

The driver of the second auto was not seriously injured and no one in the fleeing vehicle was hurt.

The suspects were arrested when police stopped them following a chase.

Charges are pending against all three.
