Ottawa Police welcomes back Uday Jaswal as deputy chief

The Ottawa Police Services Board announced Uday Jaswal as the new deputy chief of police for the Ottawa Police Service (OPS).

Jaswal is an Ottawa native who has served as a police officer for 23 years, most recently as a deputy chief with the Durham Regional Police Service. Prior to that, he spent 21 years with OPS.
