New commander of OPP Sault Ste. Marie Detachment

Manuela Byrnes has been named the new commander of the Ontario Provincial Police Sault Ste. Marie Detachment.

Staff-Sgt. Byrnes had been the acting detachment commander since May 2019 and was recently promoted to the rank of staff sergeant.

She is the first female to lead the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment.
