Mounties investigating death after break and enter call in southeastern Saskatchewan

Feb. 10, 2023, Regina, Sask. – RCMP say officers found a man dead at a home Friday after a report of a break in a rural area of southeastern Saskatchewan.
Police say three men broke into a home in an area 20 kilometres south of the village of Stockholm and town of Esterhazy.
Officers found the man, who lived in the home, dead at the scene and a woman was brought to hospital.
Mounties say the death is suspicious.

RCMP say the homeowner’s vehicle was stolen, as was at least one firearm, which was found on fire and abandoned on a nearby grid road.
RCMP say they don’t have descriptions or information to provide the public yet and asked the people to remain vigilant.
