Longueuil, Que. selected to host 2020 North American Police & Fire Games

Longueuil has been announced the host city of the Jeux Nord-Américains Policiers-Pompiers 2020, or North American Police & Fire Games.

From Aug.14-18, 2020, police, firefighters, customs and military from all over the world will face each other in a major competition. Events will include athletics, Crossfit, tennis, boxing and many more.

There will also be numerous free family-friendly activities Aug.15-16 at the Colosseum Jean-Béliveau.

Hugo Girard, a Canadian former strongman and Québécois, is a spokesperson for the games and was in attendance at the press conference launching the host city news. He is a Strongman Super Series World Champion, a four-time World Muscle Power champion and a six-time Canada’s Strongest Man.
