Katie McLellan joins CPS as deputy chief

Katie McLellan is one of three new deputy chiefs joining Calgary Police Chief Mark Neufeld.

She joined the Calgary Police Service in 1987, retiring in 2013 as senior superintendent. She transitioned to the corporate security realm joining an international oil and gas exploration company as the senior security advisor.

In May 2018, she joined the RCMP and was selected to be the Officer in Charge of Federal Policing South, Serious and Organized Crime (K Division).
