Two Day Peer Support Training

First responders are welcome to sign up for a two day Peer Support Training Session, presented by the Peer and Trauma Support Systems Team with the Mood Disorders Society of Canada.
The curriculum is the only one in Canada that uses the training objectives provided by the “Guidelines for the Practice and Training of Peer Support” published by the Mental Health Commission of Canada, the society says.
The fee is $375 per person, including lunch and snacks both days.
The session is limited to 16 people and takes place at The Trauma Centre in Sharon, Ont. on Oct.12-13, 2017, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days.
