Dragon Skin’s ergonomic duty belt

Canadian company Hi-tec Intervention is introducing its new Dragon Skin product: the ergonomic duty belt. In this piece of gear, the inner belt expands and contracts with the outer belt.

All of the components have to work together, the company notes: the inner webbing with inner velcro along with outer velcro and outer webbing. These components will “stretch together with every body movement, such as sitting, bending over or twisting from side to side.”

Hi-tec Intervention, which is based in Quebec, says the expanding material used to obtain these features is human-made and did not change after more than 100,000 trials of stretch action, according to test results. “This is unlike elastic that will breakdown over a short period, because it is not human-made,” the company states. “We have also included a much smaller polymer footprint for the gun holster that can be flipped from one side to another to accommodate the user.”

All products from Hi-tec Intervention are made in Canada.
