The 112th national Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) conference, which was held in Montréal, delved into all things digital, such as cybercrime and the impact of new technologies like body worn cameras and criminal activity mapping apps.

Mario Harel, president of the CACP, said the conference is a great place for chiefs to learn from the experiences of others and add to best practices.
“We will look at how technology affects policing, how to leverage it to serve the community in a positive manner,” Harel said.
